Born in France, Céline has worked with UNHCR since 2007 in Geneva, Burundi, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and other countries in Central Africa and the Great Lakes Region, in advocacy, external relations and covering refugee stories. Now in charge of External Relations and Spokesperson in Paris, she works with the media and partners to advocate for better protection of refugees in Europe and globally. She is also part of UNHCR’s Innovation Fellowship. A graduate of Strasbourg’s Institut d’Études Politiques, she holds an M.A. in development, cooperation and humanitarian affairs from the Sorbonne.
